School without Racism

You may have heard of the “School without Racism – School with Courage” network. We have been part of this network since the beginning of 2022 and are one of 3,800 schools that are actively committed to the equality of all people and against any form of degradation of others in their everyday school life.

Due to a steadily increasing shift to the right, we see it as our social responsibility to support you through special lessons and projects in respectful interaction with other people and to show you new perspectives.

As a network school, we have created a mission statement based on the principles and priorities of our working group and are committed to acting accordingly:

Our mission statement:

Respect

We are committed to ensuring that all people at our school treat each other with respect and are accepted and valued regardless of their origin, religion, gender or appearance.

Reflection

We create space for reflection and awareness of racism and discrimination. Through workshops and projects, we aim to educate the school community and raise awareness of diversity.

Backbone

We encourage all members of our school community to stand up against racism and discrimination and to actively promote a respectful and non-discriminatory environment.

Direction

Our aim is to firmly anchor the values of respect and equality in our school culture and to bring about long-term change against racism and discrimination.
