SUPPORT PROGRAMS
If you choose our school, you should know that we accompany and support you on your way to the Abitur with the best of our ability. Above-average performance of our students in the Abitur (high school graduate) shows that our support program is successful. The support program developed by us for you is used in all grades.
In grade 5, we offer you comprehensive method training as part of the “Humann Hour”. It helps you to organize yourself optimally in the follow-up of the lessons as well as in the preparation of presentations, tests and class tests. We will also show you selected examples of how you can work and learn independently and successfully at home.
In addition to method training, we also offer you two weekly lessons in grade 5, in which you can decide for yourself whether you want to repeat or deepen your teaching content in the subjects German, English or Mathematics. For this work, which is accompanied by subject teachers, numerous materials are available for you.
From grade 6 onwards, we regularly offer remedial lessons in the written subjects in the following grades, and from grade 7 onwards also in the subjects French and Latin. Whether you take part in this remedial lesson is reviewed by the subject teachers of the respective regular lessons every six months. Here you consolidate what you have already learned and close knowledge gaps.
The remedial lessons are primarily taught by teachers. They are often supported by high-achieving pupils of the respective grades. For their cooperation, these students not only receive a special certificate, but they also develope their own expertise and social skills.

In addition to this support program in the morning session, we offer two other support programs in the afternoon session. At our branch on Jakob-Weber-Straße there is homework supervision five days a week as part of our afternoon care and at the main building on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13:30 to 15:00. You will be accompanied by a team of committed parents, our FSJ students and students for the teaching profession.
And with the project “Pupils Help Pupils“ we offer you personal support in learning and processing existing knowledge gaps. This special tutoring takes place in the main building of our school, assisted by students in grades 9 to Q2.
