Hello! Bonjour! ¡Hola! & Salve!
At CHG, you have the opportunity to learn four foreign languages: English, French, Spanish and Latin. You will later master the first three languages so well that you can easily communicate with others in the countries where these languages are spoken.
Latin will not only help you to better understand ancient history, it will also open up important access points in research and science.
Our language teaching is geared towards all these qualifications in a special way. Up-to-date teaching material – also in digital form – as well as proven teaching methods and various cooperation with the student laboratory of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum help you to quickly familiarize yourself with the language, to understand it, to use it confidently in speech and writing.
In order for this to really succeed, we offer you the opportunity to practice the use of the respective language through encounters with our European partner schools and visits abroad within the framework of ERASMUS+.
In doing so, you will familiarize yourself with the cultural history of the respective host country. At the same time, you will broaden your horizons in several ways: Your view of the world becomes broadened. Differences are experienced as enrichment. Together, borders will be overcome and peace can be experienced.
