Registration for upper school

Dear students and parents/guardians,

We are delighted that you are interested in a place in our sixth form.
If you would like to find out more about our school on our Open Day, you are cordially invited. You will find the date in our timetable.

Applications for a place in the sixth form in Essen are made via the “SchülerOnline” website. You can apply online on the following page:

You will need a password, which you will receive from your current school. You enter your personal details here and can also upload your most recent school reports. This is possible immediately after the report cards have been issued for the semester.

Every year there is a digital information event on the upper secondary school at Carl-Humann-Gymnasium. In addition, we offer another information event for secondary school students and their parents/guardians. At this event, we will provide general information and an overview of the upper secondary school and conduct individual discussions and a choice consultation. All relevant documents (the last two school reports, the signed application form, ID, etc.) must be brought along to this appointment. ) must be brought along. You can find both dates in our schedule.

The school management will decide on admission after the application deadline. Notifications of acceptance or rejection will then be sent out promptly.
Transfer to the upper secondary school is only possible if a qualification note is available on the secondary school leaving certificate.
