W\u00e4hrend Christen und Muslime Fastenzeit haben, feiern unsere j\u00fcdischen Schwestern und Br\u00fcder vom Abend des 2. M\u00e4rz an ein fr\u00f6hliches, ausgelassenes, karneval\u00e4hnliches Fest mit Verkleidung und Tanz: Purim!<\/p>\n

An Purim wird die Esther-Rolle gelesen, denn das Fest erinnert daran, dass K\u00f6nigin Esther das j\u00fcdische Volk vor einem Massaker bewahrte. Die Kinder machen mit ihren Ratschen m\u00f6glichst viel Krach, die Erwachsenen sto\u00dfen auf das Leben an und alle essen Hamantaschen, ein s\u00fc\u00dfes Geb\u00e4ck, in dem N\u00fcsse, Rosinen, Pflaumenmus und Mohn versteckt sind.<\/p>\n

Die Alte Synagoge Essen bittet zum Tanz: Im Rahmen des Festivals j\u00fcdischer Musik Tikvah l\u00e4dt sie am 1. M\u00e4rz um 17h \u00a0zum Purimball ein.<\/p>\n

Wir w\u00fcnschen allen Mitgliedern der Schulgemeinde, die j\u00fcdischen Glaubens sind, ganz herzlich ein sch\u00f6nes Purimfest!<\/p>\n
