In der Woche vom 8. bis zum 12. April durfte unsere Schule sieben Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler sowie zwei Lehrkr\u00e4fte von unserer spanischen Partnerschule, der I.E.S. Brianda de Mendoza, im Rahmen eines Erasmus+ Projekts zum Thema \u201eOne Europe \u2013 two cultures\u201c empfangen.<\/p>\n

Ebenfalls involviert in dieses Projekt waren sieben Spanischlernende aus der Klasse 9, die bereits im vergangenen Dezember in Begleitung mit ihrer Spanischlehrerin Frau Densow und der Fremdsprachenassistentin Inma eine unvergessliche Woche in Guadalajara verbringen durften, um das spanische Schulsystem sowie den Alltag in einer spanischen Gastfamilie hautnah erleben zu k\u00f6nnen. Ausfl\u00fcge in die angrenzende Hauptstadt Madrid sowie die bedeutsame Universit\u00e4tsstadt Alcal\u00e1 de Henares z\u00e4hlten zu den Highlights dieses facettenreichen Spanienaufenthalts. Neben zahlreichen interkulturellen Erfahrungen konnten unsere Sch\u00fcler*innen zudem ihre Spanischkenntnisse ausbauen.<\/p>\n

Und auch die spanischen Sch\u00fcler*innen durften knapp vier Monate sp\u00e4ter ebenfalls die Vorz\u00fcge eines kurzen Auslandsaufenthalts genie\u00dfen und wurden nicht nur durch ihre hiesigen Gasteltern, sondern auch durch die gesamte Schulgemeinschaft herzlich aufgenommen und betreut. So hospitierten sie im Unterricht und erhielten damit einen umfangreichen Einblick in das deutsche Schulsystem. Zudem haben sie auch kulturell an Wissen und Erfahrung hinzugewonnen und viele interessante Aspekte \u00fcber unsere Stadt Essen sowie das Ruhrgebiet im Allgemeinen gelernt. Ein Highlight des Aufenthalts war wohl zum einen die Besichtigung der von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe ernannten Zeche Zollverein sowie der Besuch der Stadt K\u00f6ln und des dort ans\u00e4ssigen Schokoladenmuseums. Auch in ihrer Freizeit am Nachmittag wurde den spanischen Sch\u00fcler*innen in ihren Gastfamilien viel geboten, wie beispielsweise ein Spaziergang durch den Grugapark, die Besichtigung der Villa H\u00fcgel oder ein Stadionbesuch samt einer Fu\u00dfballpartie des heimischen Vereins Rot-Wei\u00df-Essen.<\/p>\n

Nach intensiven zwei Wochen Sch\u00fcleraustausch ist zwischen den spanischen und deutschen Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fclern ein inniges und freundschaftliches Verh\u00e4ltnis entstanden, sodass der Abschied verst\u00e4ndlicherweise schwerfiel.

\nDie Partnerschaft mit der I.E.S. Brianda de Mendoza liegt uns als Schulgemeinschaft sehr am Herzen und soll auch in den kommenden Jahren mit weiteren Kurz- und Langzeitprojekten weiterhin belebt werden.<\/p>\n
